Question:You are the Secretary of My School,My Home campaign in you school.You have been asked to write an article on how to make your classroom a condusive place to study.

  This is an important year as we have to sit for our SPM examination and conjunction of this,the counselling club of SMK. Dato' Sri Amar Diraja,Muar is planning a campaign about "My School,My Home".The aim of this campaign is to create the awareness of the clealliness among students and to ensure that they get a conducive and comfortable environment of teaching and learning process especially in the classroom.This campaign will be held for one month starting from July to August 2012 in our school and don't hesitate to join us in any activities in order to improve our academic achievements.

  Classroom should be very conducive to studied and therefore we have to start by selecting the class committee to lead the other students to carry out the duty.Besides,we have to hang up rules in a classroom and place it at the suitable spot so that everybody can read and follow it.All students should aware not to eat in the classroom during recess and the prefects must play their role to make sure that this should not be happened in our school as we want to create a clean environment.The right place for them to eat is at the school canteen and a strict punishment should be taken to those who disobey the school rules.

  Punctuality is very important in our academic successful.Therefore,as a responsible students we would always follow the school rules to avoid any punishment and attend any classes on time without fail.The monitor and assistant monitor should work together to plan an effective duty roaster for everybody and make sure they always do their work.Remind those student who suppose to do the duty to come early to school to do the respective duty such as sweeping the floor,cleaning the white board,arranging tables and chairs.The class monitor need to supervise the class everytime with the help of assistant monitor.

   Each student must have a sense of responsibility to carry out their duty to ensure the class is in harmony and conducive for teaching and learning sessions.Sense of responsibility teaches the students to be more discipline towards their work.

   Hence,our Prime Minister has launched the "One Malaysia" campaign and as a good citizen,we must instil a good attitude from home so that we can apply it at school.The form teacher has to plan a proper seating arrangement by combining different races of students such as Malay,Chinese,Indians and others to bulid strong relationship and tolerance among students.We should have sufficient tables and chairs in class and make sure they are safe to be used.Make report to the respective teacher about the broken furniture in class immediately so that it can be replaced with the new one.By this,we can create a new mood of learning and students can exchange ideas and discuss their lessons comfortably.

    Besides,to make the classroom more majestic and magnificent,we need to decorate it with attractive accessories by painting the wall with gaudy colour.The classroom can be informative if we put up the motivational phrases so that,the students will become more knowledgable.At the meantime,the students can also put the proverb and idiomatic or short notes on the notice board.

   A comfortable environment is vital to students because it gives a great improvement to their academic achievements.The low light intensity in the classroom may produce a sleepy place and does not have much activity or excitement to students,so the school management needs to change a better one.Morever,classroom should have a reading corner to help students to improve their language skill and knowledge.Students can bring books for the reading corner to share their knowledge with their classmates.

   In the nutshell,every students need a conducive place to study which give them inspiration to do work.Furthermore,condusive place is important during teaching and learning process either for teacher and student because it promotes our emotion to learn more.For me,this campaign can influence us to create a good environment of learning and I hope we will work hand by hand on this campaign to make it sucess as the saying goes "many hand make a light work".
